BHASKARA II


Bhāskara. Bhāskara is said to have been the head of an astronomical observatory at Ujjain, the leading mathematical center of ancient India. He lived in the Sahyadri region (Patnadevi, Jalgaon, Maharashtra)

       was born on 1114.. He was an Indian mathematician who claimed for the first time in the world that any number divided by zero(0) is infinity ..
 


He wrote a very popular book on mathematics Leelavati, named after his daugther who was interested in mathematics....
